Leaving Friday

We are leaving friday on a grand tour that will include Memphis to Springfield IL, to cheese country,to Minneapolis, through South Dakota to Montana,to Glacier, down 93 to Ketchum, Salt Lake City,to Santa Fe through Texas and Home.
But before We go we want to express our deep and sincere gratitude to every one who ever posted a tip, explained a procedure, loaded a picture, raved about a campground or in anyother way has anything to do with this glorious and most wonderful corner of the internet called Airstream Forums. Ladies and Gentlemen you have met your stated goal of sharing Knowledge of all things Airstream. Are you feeling this yet? Then let me continue. Without ya'll I would have never attempted half the things I have done to my 72 Tradewind. Things like pulling out dents,( I used a suction cup and 2by4 brace'd on the antenna base) replacing the plumbing with Pex, sealing leaks ,cleaning n polishing, tracking down shorts and all the maintinance details that I tend to overlook or ignore.
Special thanks go to the folk at Inland RV whose vast knowledge of all things Airstream, inventory from hell , prompt service, attention to detail, and all around good humor(where else can you start out talking about a plumbing part and end up talking about tatas).
Without all your help, guidense, encourgement, wisdom, presention of a persona that makes me proud to own an Airstream I would not be making the trip of a lifetime in an Airstream. Thanks to all.

Congratulations on your upcoming voyage! Sounds like a lot of fun!!! I agree with you - the people on this forum are amazing. It seems like there is no problem that hasn't been solved already, in multiple ways - with pictures, no less!

Have a safe and wonderful trip; feel free to post some updates and photos along the way if you have the chance. Happy camping!

When you get to Santa Fe, eat at Tia Sophia's just off the square. Also The Shed is worth the wait. In Salt Lake City, try and stay at the Poney Express RV park just off 215 on Redwood Road. In Ketchum eat at the Sun Valley Lodge and watch the ice skating show. Have a great trip-

I second "Pap's" suggestion of Tia Sophia's. I ate the best breakfast I've ever eaten in my entire life, and that's saying something! I had fresh blueberry pancakes and they were to die for!

Have a great time and stay between the lines, also, I'd love to read about your adventures if you get the chance to post.
