A few photos and details of our Labor Day holiday trip to Lake Buchanan, Texas ... a short 1 hour drive west of Austin. We arrived Friday around noon and tonight (Labor Day) will be our last night here ... then it's a short 1 hour drive back home for the remaining work week.
On Saturday we visited a couple of vineyards, did some wine tastings, enjoyed some beautiful views and weather:

On Sunday we enjoyed a big lunch at Coopers Pit BarBQ (spent $105 on BarBQ lunch ... and we're still working on the leftovers) ... the original location in Llano, TX:

We also spent a couple days in the pool at the Big Chief RV Park (typically we prefer State Parks ... but they were booked solid with reservations ... so this trip we stayed in an RV park ... but I would highly recommend this RV park ... very well kept, laundry, cabins, waterfront and dock for those that have a boat):

This afternoon we're enjoying the sound of rain on the rooftop of the Airstream as the approaching storm delivered some showers.
