It gets the weekend off.

I hate it when that magic smoke gets out... hope it feels better soon!

P.S. y'all have a safe and wonderful weekend wherever you are... Oh and you have my permission not to behave!

I'll be zigging between a local campground where the A/S is parked, (they have a nice pool!) and home. I have to work at the Florida/Hawaii football game on Saturday. Go Gators!

We are trying to beat the heat this weekend by going to Wrights Beach near Bodega Bay. It's going to be in the 100's here in Sacramento. The beach is going to be much cooler. Have fun this weekend what ever you end up doing.

Not exactly:
Magic smoke - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lightly paraphrased:
Quote:
The origins of the magic smoke has become a running in-joke that started among electrical engineers ... When the silicon used in transistors and integrated circuits burns, it produces smoke that is blue in color.
Thor: Norse god who used lightning bolts
Mumblety Peg: Old game involving throwing a knife at your own foot.

Thus:
Trailer lost a game of mumblety peg with Thor and leaked the magic smoke from the converter
=
Lightning struck the trailer and cooked the converter.

It's kind of a long way to go for a joke, I know, but it's the journey not the destination, right? (by the rules of mumblety peg, I guess the trailer won! Woo Hoo!)

I got lucky...someone canceled and I'm in in Grapevine Texas:

The Vineyards

Very nice park. First time for me. Heard it used to be a COE park.

2 other late model Airstreams here. No Blue or Red numbers. Both 25' Safari's.

This place will work out good for me. I'm by myself now, but Prim comes in from Europe (business trip) tomorrow, and I'll just save her a connection and pick her up here at the DFW airport 5 miles away.

I even have a lake view...

Not everything can be perfect... Picked up Prim from DFW on Sat, she comae down with a cold and sore throat... felt really bad for her as the weekend was so nice...

Then - on our departure from the park Monday AM, we stopped at the dump station only to be the first people to discover the dump was full / clogged only AFTER we had started the black tank dump!!!!

You can imagine what a mess that was....

I need to bun my shoes now...
