Neither of us has been contacted by anyone affiliated with the CA state parks division. However, if I should be implicated in the deposit of anything on any surface under their jurisdiction, then they're going to have to collect and analyze the sample. I've got time, I'll wait on the results.

I'll be on the porch thru the weekend. I've had to sort thru things like this before, All sides of the story need to be heard by the Commander in Charge. I think a week is a fair amount of time to wait for a call. Looks like I did not have all the information in the beginning of my report. ho hum. Maybe I'll put on my spiked collar for next week, this choke chain is irritating. D(little o)G

Yes, DG, I've been watching the mail thinking that a letter on some nice stationary might appear. It would be nice to think that there are conscientious civil servants out there that feel the duty to set things right. But alas, maybe I am too idealistic. Maybe they just figure that if they ignore it, the sting of the injustice will wear off and the whole thing will just blow over.

In which case maybe some of the wonderful NorCal folks need to hold a blue tote rally at SeaCliff. Even the new trailers that don't need a tote could sport one out of solidarity. In fact, it could be called the Blue Tote Solidarity Rally. Can't you just see that pencil uh....neck..."host" have a stroke if a bunch of Airstreams rolled in and EVERYONE took out a blue tote. He wouldn't know who to bust first. There could be the famous blue tote races and, instead of open house, maybe a tote decorating competition.

Hi, go to jail in California? Hell yes. Unless you are dirt poor [illeagle alien] or filthy rich, [O.J.] you will pay dearly or go to jail. Middle class beware.

A Blue Tote Race!

I'll name mine...

"Blue By You"

Does'nt everyone use these?
Even with holding tanks, when we stay at a place more than a few days.

The power of the pen.... er electron?

So, anyone think that it would be useful to mount an email campaign to raise the awareness of some middle management civil servant that he/she isn't dealing with a couple of cranks here? I wonder how many of us would be willing to politely explain that some airstream folks are watching and if there isn't some recompense to the egregious actions of one of their minions we'll bring this to the attention of the governator? I see him on TV here pretty routinely touting the tourism opportunities that California provides. I suspect that they are not interested in having a whole group of potential tourists made aware that California isn't as inviting as the tourist ads depict.
I would suggest that if DG doesn't get "a pound of flesh" soon that he pull the trigger on the hordes. I for one would be happy to offer my opinion to a designated recipient that DG would identify.

Has anyone ever been kicked out of a campground?

As I continue to marvel at the reaction to this thread and the support of the Airstream community regarding this ordeal I started to wonder if anyone else on the Forums has ever been kicked out of a campground. We're a huge community and surely it must have happened to somebody else. I don't know how to start a poll, but that might be interesting to find out.

I've been refused entry when I was full-timing in a 40' Monaco Dynasty. The campground initially said that the coach AND my full-size Chevy van in tow would be no problem.....................BIG PROBLEM when they gave away my reserved site and had nothing left that would fit the bus....really pi$$*d me off, if ya know what I mean

And as far as mounting a letter writing campaign or electron barrage about you being ejected from that campground......just say where, when and to whom. I'M READY!!!
