Kentucky Campground?

In search of a "nice" place to stay overnight on the way from Indianapolis to Atlanta. I was looking for some thing between Louisville and Bowling Green near (under 10 miles) I65.

Does anyone have a suggest? I know of a couple KOAs, but would prefer a more scenic spot.

Thanks in advance!

The Cave City Jellystone is not the ideal place for an airstream. The crew was kind enough to confirm our pull thru, but on inspection it had a 2' drop off as the initial pull thru. The site was sloped so much that the rear bumper touched the ground when we were level. Lots of kids and bikes. Most other sites were slightly better, but not much. It did have a pool.

Thanks for the info

I agree, Kentucky has a great resource online......the state parks look great and have a number or new amenities.

Mammoth Cave National Park..... The campground is nice, pull thru's, large unit friendly. No elec. thoough unless you can claim a handicap site. Look for the NPS web site. The Cave itself is a must see and even one afternoon there is enough to get a nice visit in.
