[Two Chicks]

Greetings!
This was our second visit to Kenosha Pass Campground. The difference in the foliage and wild flowers is very apparent. Last spring our visit was during the last week of May, and there were no leaves on the aspens, no new grasses sprouting, and no wildflowers. This year spring is in the air—afternoon thunderstorms, wildflowers, and hills full of green grass!

Just down the pass and to the right at Jefferson is the road to Jefferson lake. I have a cabin in the area and the lake is great for fishing. I haven't tried to get up there yet this year, it still could be frozen over

Aerowood, we are not familiar with Jefferson Lake. I'll look into it, perhaps for a day trip. Thanks!

There is also quite a bit of dispersed camping on the road to Georgia Pass
