JC lalapalooza

Was planning to stop by JC next week on our way west to pick up some minor things. Just learned lalapalooza is next week there. Curious as to what to expect as to how crowded it may be. We full time and have never been to one before.

lalapalooza

I think you mean Alumapalooza. It is posted three articles below this and you can find details by clicking on the event name on the calendar list of events just below the major section of the forum.

It will be very crowded and it is extremely unlikely you'll find any space in the TerraPort at Airstream. A poor week to visit unless you're attending Alumapalooza.

There are lots of semi-decent RV parks within 20-30 miles of JC.

If you're in the neighborhood anyway, why not go and see what all the excitement is all about. There are sales going on, so if you need a bit of this and that, well you'll fight a few crowds, but it's not often someone from N. Dakota is going to get to the mothership.

So, make it a day trip.

You should definitely check out Alumapalooza if you are going to be in the neighborhood anyway. It will be a lot of fun and a "once in a lifetime" experience. I believe the registration cut off is passed, but you might want to contact the sponsors to see if they can still fit you in.

Alumapalooza 5

Otherwise, expect to see 200 to 300 Air-streamers competing for the limited resources of the service department. If all you want is service, I'd suggest waiting out the event somewhere else and show up on June 2nd or 3rd.

Thanks for the info. We really don't need to stop in, just usually do a couple times a year when we are in the area. Tight schedule right now.

Alumapalooza is great and you should go.... BUT call Airstream about the Terraport.
The Terraport is not part of Alumapalooza.

Alumapalooza participants park in the field behind the factory.
