Any suggestions from Louisiana Streamers? Also any suggestions for camping near Baton Rouge?
My choice would be Lake Bruin State Park near St. Joseph in Tensas Parish. The park is located on one of the most beautiful Mississippi oxbow lakes in the country. The campground is probably the nicest in La, in my opinion. There should be vacant sites at this time of year. The park is about 150 miles from Baton Rouge via US highways 65 and 61.
