Well, I'd like to see it preserved rather than destroyed. These places are important to the good life.
I talked with someone today, a long time camp host here who may have been spouting a party line, but she said the rows taken out would be tent sites and office buildings. Also that the sound barriers put up should lessen the noise to the point that it is not an annoyance. Hard to imagine, but I guess it is possible.
She also said this has been in the works for 20 years and it might be awhile longer before it came to fruition.
It was two different locals who brought this to our attention over the weekend, and they were not happy about it. Clearly feel there will be a significant impact on the campground.
