It's A Trifecta!!!

Over the past weekend and with a little help from three of my forum friends we brought home Alvin, a 1965 Globetrotter, a 1959 Mobile Scout, and Olivia, a 1954 26' Cruiser. I brought home the Globe trotter and the Scout myself and the four of us went after Olivia. Pictures were taken, as soon as I get them from George I will post them. The resto chronicles will probably be posted in other areas. All in all it was a good weekend, and we had fun and everything went well. Many thanks to Sean, George, and Jim for going with me to recover Olivia and bring her to her new home.

Thanks again, guys!!!!

Airstream Rescue Trips are THE BEST!!! There is even discussion about having some t-shirts made up for us!! "Airstream Rescue Team"!! Very cool idea from George.

As we were on the Texas Gulf coast right on the water, lunch was a feast of super fresh fried shrimp, with fries & slaw & ice tea of course (Thank you Bruce!!). Then on to retrieve Ms. Olivia!! She needs lots of loving care, but will arise from her current neglected condition under Bruce's capable talents, helped along I'm sure by Sean (Scorpiontimo), who proved crucial to the weekend's enormous success. A really GOOD TIME was had by all.

The '65 GT (see above) just might become Ms. Roseann Wood's 'Sisters on the Fly" beauty one day. Won't that be cool??

Good luck Bruce & Roseann!! Please post lots of photos of our Rescue adventure and to document your pending restoration.

Not home?

Sooooo, "WE" live right here on the Gulf Coast and we both like shrimp. Were we just not home when you stopped by? 'Cause I know you would not drive right by without stopping in to say hello...

Congrats Bruce!!

Wanna talk rescue . . I saw two AIRFLOAT Gold trailers on a flatbed eastbound into Houston last Sunday.

Chuck, I doubt anyone would come this way and not alert you . . me . . BobT, and a couple of others. Not like we couldn't lend a hand given work schedules and whatnot. One trailer is enough for guys like us . . our craziness shines in other ways. (Maybe that's why not . . . hmmmm).

To the OP: We expect pics. Must look like Davis-Monthan from the air.

Chuck,

You KNOW if I was coming that way I would visit. We ended up in Olivia, just outside of Port Lavaca. Just a little north of you.

George will send me the recovery pics and I will post them.

The 65 Trotter is the one that Bobby Wright here on the forums had started on awhile back. Bobby had gotten the new floor in...Thanks, Bobby !!! Now all I have to do is put the rest back together.
