I suggest you "might" want to look at some of the new automotive aftermarket CERAMIC based clear coat treatments now offered at high end detail shops and available online. The application of these products will seal and protect not only the Alcoa applied Clear Coat but also the rivets and seams of your trailer.
As with any topical treatment the surface preparation and application is key. These Ceramic Clear Coat protection products and their application are NOT CHEAP however it works very well on automotive clear coats and lasts for years.
No reason you should not enjoy the same stellar results on your "Ceramic Clear Coated" Airstream!
I'm new to Airstream ownership, my second trailer, and have been reviewing the Forum for maintenance tips, so I appreciate all the wisdom. Has anyone used the Griots 3-in-1 Ceramic wax? I just got off the phone with Griots and they recommended it for the Airstream.
Also, more generally, what methods are you using when you strip wax to reapply? Griots suggested the Boss Foaming Surface Prep. Any experience with that?
