Inside storage in northern Colorado?

Can anyone recommend any RV inside storage places in the Ft. Collins general area? Any place between Denver and Laramie would work for us.

We're looking for a place to keep a 27FB stored inside for the winter.

You could check around the small airports for hanger storage.

well, there's a thought. I was going to go over to the local Ft. Collins airport anyhow, talk to a CFI there about getting current and also about a plane for sale he was telling me about.

I think my first choice will be a stall with overhead door, etc. instead of in an open hangar. But this idea does give me some more options.

They have covered storage. Some with doors that make it enclosed. Some have 115v available for battery charger. No climate control except what mother nature supplies.

Very nice people to deal with. They live right by the storage area, so it has pretty much 24 hour security.

The storage area is fenced and has a access code controlled gate.

If you end up there, tell them I (Ken Kinyon) sent you. we'll both get a free month.

We keep our spot there year around. Around here it is good to have a cover to get the trailer under if there is a possibility of hail.

My Dad bought the first V35B off the production line. Awesome instrumentation. A later owner flew it to India thence back to Texas (among other impressive flights). That's the kind of long distance inspiration I'd like to have with a TT. Alaska, Nova Scotia . . . and airport storage (were it feasible/affordable) would sure light my fire for there is nothing like a busy small airport, pre-dawn,

hearing a big Continental warming up in the near distance; with miles to go for us both . . . .
