Patio Mat

About 10 years ago, I went to my local Lowes store and purchased a section of polyolefin indoor/outdoor carpet to use for a patio mat. The fibers do not absorb water, easy to shake out sand and does not rot. I have used it on many camping trips. It comes in many different colors, mine is brown. I have been very happy with it.

This is what I have been considering for a roll-up landing pad. I was interested in your hinged approach also

I'm glad the bears like it. Do the claws on their feet scratch up the wood?

Ha Ha. Knew that was coming as soon as I posted it and then reread the post! We haven’t had any “Bear Feet” on the deck but it has seen 5 years of dog traffic (2-Labs.) and hardly any wear showing.

Safe Travels!!
