I are smart

Was at Disney's Animal Kingdom one day this past week....saw this vintage International Airstream. They jumbled the Airstream name on the back, while leaving the name correctly on the front. Wonder if the WBCCI numbers are real and if anyone out there knows who owned this prior to Disney.

Don't feel bad...took me a few for the flame to catch too!

Wonder if anyone knows prior to 2003? The park opened around 1999 and I would guess it's been there since at least then or a few years later perhaps...

FWIW, it looks like the membership had those stars on it, looks like 4 from the sun washing....maybe the past owner was an officer?!

This was an easy number for me to track. The name for #15244 is listed in my 1968-1998 directories to the same folks from Wooster OH.It has only been issued once by the looks of it.
Long time members that would have had 6 stars. It does not appear that they held office at any time.
If you need any more info, don't hesitate to PM me.

This thread has generated another inquiry for me to look up an old WBCCI number on a forum members trailer. When I checked the history I found the couple's caravan history of interest to me.It also seems that they may have been charter members of the club.
Here is a listing of the caravans they participated in.They sure made use of their trailer,

1955 -Eastern Canada
1956-Western Canada
1957-Mexico
1963-1964-Round the World
1971-Old World Europe
1978-Panama Adventure

How cool is that

Pretty neat...thanks for the info!

Some folks go to these places and simply pass them by, but I had a hunch that the numbers on the caps would reveal some sort of history.

I’m the new owner of #15244. I can’t believe some Disney aficionado didn’t scarf up these numbers years ago.Click image for larger version

Blank look. What’s the significance of the number in relation to Disney?

My daughter is, going next week. I was thinking this number might be the most seen number ever with amount of visitors they have.
