How to handle trouble on the road? HELP!

Oh, I just can't believe it!

I started full-timing about a month ago, and I just had my second accident.

I am fine, but this time, I ripped out the drain and the water input stuff that is just in front of the wheels on the driver's side. It still rolls, and I got to a KOA because it has bathroom facilities and was nearby.

I got hung up on the cement protection in front of a gas pump. I was on my way to Alumapalooza. I figured without plumbing, it wouldn't be a great idea to go camp in a field.

So, what am I to do? I will call Airstream tomorrow and beg or at least solicit advice. Their website says that they are booking 45 days out.

Since I am full-timing, this is my home. I don't have anywhere to go.

Have any of you faced a problem like this?

get to jackson center.

Chances are very good that you will have a repair crew working on your trailer like a nascar pit stop. Kind of like needing surgery at a doctors convention!

You got friends there!

Glad you are ok... get the 'stream to Mothership...

IF you have to wait for repair, perhaps ?a 'local' could help you out? Anyone up yonder?

If not, I would call 'Enterprise'... have them pick you up... find a safe place to sleep. I have friends who had similar problem and rented one of those 'extended stay' places... cheaper than the 'no-tell motel'....and daily room service..

Thanks to Channing, Melody and Dan.

I spent last night in a KOA, and I really appreciated their kindness and the availability of plumbing! After a nice shower this morning, I continued to JC and they quickly assessed the situation. They are working on it now, and I am in a nearby hotel that even let me bring my cat with me! Walter the Cat isn't too happy about it, but he'll get over it.

Everyone has been so helpful and kind. This isn't the way my big adventure was supposed to start out, but I will persevere.

I saw your trailer come in, and can say they are working on it now. The weather just got bad, though it should be better in an hour or so.

Just an update:
I got my Airstream back today! The folks here in the service center have been absolutely awesome. They did a great job on it. Vern did most of the work and everything looks great. If I were of childbearing years, I'd name my next baby after him. Maybe my next cat...
I'm roadworthy and ready to roll in the morning.
Now if I can just stop running into things!
