Yeah, we figure it at 50mph but it depends on what roads we're driving and what traffic is as to how close that actually comes. Some of the more windy (as in looks like a snake) roads in Ontario this time were 30mph roads. And Chicago is always a big question mark, which is why we avoided it and came home from upstate NY thru Canada. Only added about 40 miles to our trip, and was a lot more interesting than toll roads. We didn't even get asked about fruit at the border..... this time! Probably next time they'll pull us to do a thorough inspection!

I've done 900 but just felt burned out the next day wasn't worth it.

Now I get going at 5-6AM go about 550-600 miles it works out better.

On open roads hit cruise at 65-67mph

we will tow two gas tanks in a day if we need to get there, 500 mi. less much less if we don't have to get there. I never intentionally drive over 60 mph.

Towed 417 miles today. Towed at 65 on my new 16" Michelins rather than my usual 60 on my old ST tires. The extra speed cost about 1 MPG diesel.

Much further than my usual 300-330 miles a day, but this was Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma Panhandle , and eastern Colorado. I did pass some few un-advertised RV parks en-route, but the planning choice based on what I could find in advance was either a real long day or a way too short day.
