Problem is the Z71 rack has a different "footprint" than the standard rack. I own a Yakima Loadwarrior basket which will attach to my Z71 rack and I can mount a couple of Yakima bike racks to it. Not exactly what I'd prefer (simple is usually better) but workable.

As for the "rollbar thingy", haven't used it yet, but it would be nice for loading a canoe.

Steve,

Now that is some serious height for mounting a bike! I have enough trouble hopping onto the running board and coordinating a forward motion to mount my bikes on our 'Burban. Hope your quite tall or have a stepladder.
