Houston RV Parks for Extended Stay

Can anyone recommend a RV Park in Houston for an extended stay of 3 to 6 months?

Take a look at Advanced RV Park, quite nice as RV parks go. We stayed there a night last year in March.

Rayford Crossing is a very nice RV park. It is near the Woodlands, Spring area and is east of I 45

There are 2 RV parks that have daily shuttle to MD Anderson.

Google "MD Anderson rv parks" for pictures and ratings.

I am interested in the North side of Houston to be within 30 minutes of where I will be working. Trees would be nice.

Thanks!

It would seem the best way to find what you want would be to google Houston RV parks, which will come up on a map.

Pick the ones close enough for you, read their reviews, and call the ones you select.

How far in North Houston?

Rayford in The Woodlands, is great but pricy and tough to get in and out of due to traffic in the area.

I am currently at the Magnolia Forest RV park in Magnolia. Wonderful place. Lots of shade, smaller park, quite, but a drive into Houston downtown, 1+ hr.

Corral RV park in Tomball. Front sites are a bit run down, grass sites w/ long term guests. The new rear section has cement pads 70+' long. No trees though.

2 parks near the med center to choose from.

Further out in Willis is, I think, a KOA, but ratings are low.

hey how about any recommendations for covered storage for a 34' AS. Security is more important than the area in or around Houston. We will probably need the storage for 5 months.

You may want to consider Atascocita RV Storage. It meets your criteria.

It is located in the general area of Humble, Texas

Fully enclosed storage, security system to enter storage area. RV and auto service in front.

Monty for storage call Katy boat and RV storage. They have three places in west Houston. I'm in the one near Fulshear, TX.

Fulshear. Named for one of the VERY FIRST, pre-republic family homes on that prairie, circa pre-1830s. His home was an inland refuge from the elements and dangers of the countryside for newcomers. Credited for saving many pilgrim lives. He regularly took in strangers/travelers and often nursed them back to health.
