Jimminy, Channing, that's hot!
Only 84 here today, but still humid.
Enjoy Big Bend...a beautiful place.

Well. . .
It is 59 here in Saskatoon with on and off showers. Probably have to turn the furnace on this evening. We wouldn't mind some 100 degree weather (or and some sunshine too)

Looking at 117 for today and 120 tomorrow. We had a lovely spring but we're in for 3 months of yucky weather.
In my fantasy life I live somewhere with 4 seasons. A magical place with no bad snow or ice just the fluffy kind you see on postcards that disappears before it turns to slush. With no 100 degree days, humidity, tornadoes or weather catastrophies.
Hey I said it was a fantasy life.

Well, havin spent a lot of time in the southwest desert, I've become accustomed to the heat... Dare I say I may even enjoy it? Been about 105 by 5pm each day here in the Escalante wilderness but I've been keeping comfy. Ice cream works. Frozen fruit is even better-- lots of water and electrolytes in frozen fruit. And, of course, drink water.
Only time it gets real tough is when the wind starts to gust over 40 and I can't keep my windows open! But I don't mind sweatin it out in my shorts out here in the desert! In Staunton, it'd be a different story with all that humidity!

I'm actually on my way to ouray where it's 20 degrees colder but I bet I'll be cold then. I got a good, cheap spot with electric only so I'll be ready for whatever the weather brings... within reason of course.

I find water and a freezer full of fruit to be cheaper. Love bluegrass.

Channing, I hope you and Phyllis survive those temps. Michael was complaining about 87 here in Little Rock!

Hi
It's pretty tough here. I had to turn on the heat last night. Today it will barely make it into the 70's. Tonight they are talking about the 40's.
I figure I'm far enough away that I don't have to worry about you all throwing large heavy objects at me
