help! We are in Pismo Beach w/ a A/C cover ready to fly off.....

Hi folks, need a quick fix...Mr.' 66 Overlander are you out there? Our 66' O 's a/c cover is attached by 2 screws...it appears to be an after market plastic cover spray painted silver that is covering our orginal coleman a/c...Any suggestions...should be just take it off? Is there any reprocusions to taking off the cover for the AC until we get home? Should we just screw it on again somehow? Is there a real a/c cover for it by airstream.....what is your thoughts? Please let me know quick, we leave tomorrow am. Thanks! A.

There is at least one RV dealer along Hwy 1 there in Pismo on the south end, I would see if they can help you.
Good luck,
Dave

Are you headed thru Lodi (between Stockton and Sacramento) on your next leg? If so I would be happy to help you out with repairs. You are about 5 hours from me. DG

There are a couple of RV dealers right across from Pismo Coast Village RV Park if you need parts/minor repairs.

Take the shroud off and discard it. No damage to the AC will occur.

Assuming you have the original Armstrong TAC-110, we have fiberglass shrouds in stock.

The window costs depend on what size.

The windows are listed in the parts sale list of our web site.

Thanks Dave, I'm just trying to attend to it myself...but after crawling on top determined just to rip it off! Thanks, Andy assured me it won't damage the A/C to travel uncovered for a while.
