Help finding a place to meet up in Greenville SC

Hi,

We will be traveling through Greenville SC on our way from Franklin NC to Charleston SC. We want to stop in Greenville to meet some friends. They suggested lunch spots "on main street" or a "river walk". Anyone know of a place to park an F150 + 26' AS in those areas??

Or, any other suggestions in that area that would accomodate a 45' rig and is dog friendly?

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

My daughter lives in Greenville and we have visited the River Walk area several times. The area you are asking about is the old downtown area and is very congested. If on the weekend, you could park in the Greenville County Offices parking lot and then have your friends pick you up. The county office parking lot is close to the River Walk area. Your friends may have a better idea of a place for you to park and then be picked up. I don't think, but I may be wrong, you will find a parking place for your whole rig close to the River Walk. Take a look at the satellite view in Google Maps.

The Greenville County Offices are located at university ridge and howe street. There is a parking lot on the back side of the offices with a bridge to cross over to Augusta road and main street. You will then be in the West end, gals river area of main.

As far as food, there is something for everybody and every budget. Don't stay too long or you will never want to leave.

I live and work in Greenville.

That is a good suggestion. The county offices parking lot. Here is the address.

Greenville County Square
301 University Ridge
Greenville, SC 29601

I haven't eaten at the NEW location in Greenville, but I have the other two locations of Tupelo Honey!

Thanks to everyone! My wife found the Greenville Parking coordinator (she's a journalist; she finds stuff), and he said the Greenville County Offices was a great suggestion. He also said there was a block of on-street parking where they send school busses visiting the park that might be empty at the time we would be there, and is closer to where we want to be. For future reference, that parking is around 249 Camperdown Way.

Thanks again to all!
