Bob,
Still in FLorida. It is cold for Florida. Wind Chill 23 this morning and i am heading into the Colder weather. Time to find my long undies!
I will be leaving as soon as I sign off and throw my bags in the truck.
And I forgot a full set of chains for the truck and trailer.

Cincinnati just got dumped on with snow last night but it will be 50 degrees Sat/Sun. You should be ok!
If your in town this weekend there is a RV show with Airstream as a sponsor that will be on your way to JC.
Odyssey Presentations | Cincinnati RV Super Show
My wife and I hope to go and dream of warmer days ahead!

I drove and drove today. further than and longer than expected. I am 15 minutes south of Dayton. 850+ miles and 13 hours on the road.

I wanted to get to Cincinatti (which acccording to the GPS was supposed to be 10 hours) but once I got here I wanted to be on the north side. I was talking to my sister in Florida before I realized I needed to hang up and find a place to sleep for the night.
I am sleeping in a little and I expect to be in JC late tomorrow morning.

If you pull up in front of 345 N. Elm in Fairborn, tell 'em the plug-in is on me. Only been 51 years since I lived there. We left in summer of '57 -- family moving to Texas and my dad transferred with the USAF to France. We would join him 6 months later.

Well I pulled into JC at 10:30 this morning. They had my trailer inside wait for me. She looks great! Like brand new. Un-fortunately the camera is in the truck and it is coooooold outside. So pictures are going to have to wait a couple of days. They had to empty the trailer on the left side to fix her. So most of my worldly belongings were in boxes wait for me to put them back in their place. I never realized how much stuff I had inside the trailer! When I get home to MT there will be a through purging of the trailer.

I took a little nap this afternoon once I could get to and make my bed. Had dinner at the Cafe Verenda right here in JC. **** dining right down the street.

I am not alone in the terra port. One other trailer is close by but it is just too cold and the wind is blowing to go over and say hi. I am going to stay in my silver cocoon for the evening. Headed to bed soon for a good rest. I have some travelling to do tomorrow. Next stop Central Virginia!

Sure is pretty. Hope things get back to "normal" for you. Seems like you have been on quite an adventure this past year.

Dang, Michelle! It looks like you have gone by us twice and I missed you both times! I have pretty busy and not keeping up with the forums like I should. If you come through the Richmond/Lexington area again, please let us know and we would love to meet you if possible, even if it's running over to a gas station while you fill up!

Where are you heading from the Shenandoah?

Susan

Susan,
I was in a hurry both ways. I headed to my fathers in Newport News then south back to Florida.
Made it last night.

Good to hear you're safe in the warmer weather and off the roads for a while. You must be tired but happy to have Butter Cup back. We all breathed a sigh of relief when you said you "made it" last night.

Michelle,

Glad you got buttercup back, and she looks great!

I can relate to how much a 31 ft can hold, see our full timing thread. Bertha was packed to the gills and then some!

We are thinking about you during your travels. Be safe.

Marie
