Heading South

Will be driving to warmth traveling several mt. passes. Our Int. 23 Fb, 2013 has a recent skin treatment. If we wash the exterior upon arrival after 3 or 4 travel days to remove the road de-icer crud, will the pretty aluminum remain so?

Just be sure to really wash the under side to prevent corrosion.

How do you wash the underside, or do you mean just spray? Most campgrounds I've been to have a rule about washing your trailer; not allowed.

You may need to go to a car wash to do it. I think thoroughly spraying the undercarriage with water should clear off most of the road salt and gunk. You wouldn't want any vigorous brushing that might dislodge something important.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm sure our TV will need a rinse also, so we'll stop by a car wash.
