Heading Home!

Well I was expecting to leave today for points west but I ran into a little problem with my trailer. I have a water leak coming from in the water tank pan. I suspect a cracked Pex line. When I crawled under to investigate. I found one cap of the tank pan had separated and a bolt missing from each end of the cap. It seems during the last accident my water tank which was almost full did some slipping and sliding of its own.

With that out of the way I expect to head West by Northwest Wednesday.
Barreling west on I-10, with my first stop in Southern Mississippi. Day two; I hope to make my way up to I-40 and west towards Oklahoma City. Day three: I hope to make it to Albuquerque and turn North on I-25. Day Four: I hope to make it to Denver (return to the scene of the crime) and thank all those who helped me in my time of need. Day Five: Salt Lake City, Day six; Missoula.

Hope to see you all on the road!

I will try to keep you updated. I canceled my Verizon aircard. I am going to try a new setup. If I am able to post you will know it works.

Well I made it into Missoula yesterday just ahead of the weather.
My realtor met me this morning to give the keys to my house. Yep I am in the house! I got most of the truck unpacked but the trailer. I had no idea I have so much stuff in there. She will be a ton lighter when I am done!

Flying that big stuff, in and out of fires, is far from pleasure flying, but, I am sure, very rewarding, especially since ladies usually don't go for that stuff.

Thank you for helping putting those nasty forest fires out.

Could I bet that after a day fighting those fires, you relaxed with a "cool one?"

Thanks from a fellow pilot.

Andy
