Finally, all the business loose ends are loosely tied, and I am loading the trailer for a trip to the 4 Corners up to Moab and Monument Valley for full moon photography (weather permitting), and maybe some other places in that direction.
I am looking forward to some windshield time!

Sounds like a fun trip! We went to this general area last year and had a blast.

Always nice to hit the road and do something you enjoy in a great location.I hope you have clear skies.
If you're in the Mesa Verde area after the 14th come on by. Take a look at the memebers map and check out my locating. PM if you need courtesy parking for a night or two.

I have to be back in Texas by Friday the 11th.
Wife teaches Kindergarten and reports for duty on the 14th.
Arrived Moab today.
Hailed pea sized and rained like the devil at Cortez. Pulled over for over 30 minutes. Blew so hard as to blow rain into the stove vent into the trailer.
An RV dealer in South Cortez next to the shoulder where 3 of us in RVs pulled over had water at least a foot deep on his front door from the flash flood of over 2 inches of rain in 30 minutes. 3 ft ditch next to the road was full and running swift.
Pics to come of some arches at Moab when I get a chance!
You must have bypassed Albuquerque, or gone throug at the speed of heat.
We'll be at the Vintage Rally in Creede, CO when you come blasting through on your return trip. Hope you enjoy Moab as much as I did in the Spring.
David ---enjoy your trip--we we campground host at Arches this summer--what a neat place. toot if you pass through farmington going home
Pieman
Mike,
Are you at Devil's Garden camp ground?
We were there in Feb. 2003 on our first Airstream trip.
I was very surprised to have Verizon cellular service & hence Internet access from that campground because it seemed so remote.
