We found another "10-10-10" CG, Camp Gulf in Miramar Beach, FL. It's the best of the best and on the beach....I mean on the beach. Not cheap, but along with the beach, they have 2 pools and the nicest bathrooms ever encountered. Lots of cool activities and close to Destin, and about 40 miles south of I-10. Don't come here this weekend, it's full, but put this one on your bucket list. I will attach some pictures tomorrow of Camp Gulf and other spots we camped.

Wow, where do I begin. We are camped at the Cajun Palms RV Resort in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, just off I-10. It is impossible to describe this place; maybe the Disney World for RV's. Everything about this place is over-the-top; you can even order food and drinks over the phone and they bring it to you via golf cart right to your camp spot!!! Two swimming pools, mini golf course, water slide, 2 fishing ponds, a teen dancing spot, and the Tiki Bar for adults. The general store has everything including a liquor store. They have more security folks riding around than any place I have been. There are also MORE golf carts (a lot of imagination on styles) here than at a golf course, everyone but us has one. It's a happening. We got the last spot. Today should be interesting. Pics later.

After a great time with the As bunch at Pecan Park, San Marcos, TX, we headed northwest, spent the night in Lubbuck, and made it to Santa Fe, NM yesterday. We are staying at the Ranchos RV Park off the Old Las Vegas Hwy. We haven't stayed at this park before, but it is a nicer area than the Trailer Ranch off Cerrellos Road. Terrible head winds on the way up here. I have kept track of my mileage and gallons used and will report the totals at the end of our trip. Right now we are hoping to get back home in Idaho on or about June 12.

Ranchos RV Park north of Santa Fe was a great parking spot. Stayed a week and headed out today for Moab. We are staying at the Portal RV Resort. Very nice camp spot just north of town. New facilities, so very clean. Tomorrow we go to Salt Lake City and we like to camp at Pioneer RV Park in North Salt Lake. We'll stay a day there and then home to Garden Valley, Idaho. I have been keeping records of miles and gasoline used. I will report the totals when we arrive home, along with some more pictures.

Finally made it home to Garden Valley, Idaho last night. Good to be home and sleep in our bed, although our AS bed did a great job. PTL, we had zero problems with TV (our '08 V-10 ran like a champ, just turned 139,000 miles) or our AS Classic, everything worked as designed. Here are our final numbers-
Miles driven = 7,395
Gallons of gas used=884.8
Average mpg= 8.3578 (a lot better than I thought due to horrendous head winds)
States driven through= WY,NE,IO,IL,IN,OH,KY,TN,GA,FL,AL,MS,LA,TX,NM,CO,UT ,ID
Campgrounds stayed= 14
I will post some campground pictures tomorrow.
