If you come to the Delta, look us up. If you stay at the North Abutment Grenada Lake or Yocona Ridge Enid Lake we will most likely cross paths.

A long trip

Pappy19,
Don't know where you will be staying in South Carolina, but if you get close to Myrtle Beach, S.C., Willowtree RV Resort, in Longs, S.C. is definitely a 10. Convenient to Myrtle Beach, but out of all the traffic. We have stayed here may times and really like it. Great facilities.

We decided to bypass SC due to the weather and no decent CG's near Greenville, so we are headed to the Atlanta area. I can't believe how much rain we have encountered on this trip. Our slide has really been having a workout, but no leaks anywhere. If it quits raining here in Cinci before we leave this morning, I'll take a couple of pics of this Cedarbrook CG.

Rain, rain, rain, that seems to be all we are experiencing. We finally got a leak, it's coming from the stove hood and dripping on the counter. If it ever dries up, I might hit the hood outside with some of that new clear sealer. Anyone had this experience before?

We are staying at the Allatoona Landing Resort near Cartersville, GA on Lake Allatoona. Beautiful park, great security, super nice lake. Bathrooms just ok; old but clean. Headed to Tallahassee tomorrow for a couple of days, then on to Destin for the long weekend. Hope it quits raining.

My stove vent hood flap leaked on the SOB I had before the Airstream, especially when it rained sideways.

Our stove vent is locked and the rain wasn't coming sideways just straight down all day & night. It finally quit raining when we left Atlanta yesterday and had a nice drive south to Tallahassee. I-75 was terrible through Atlanta, but one we got 20 miles south or so, it was a good road. We are here in Tally for 3 days, then on to Destin, FL for the long weekend.

We found another "10-10-10" CG, Camp Gulf in Miramar Beach, FL. It's the best of the best and on the beach....I mean on the beach. Not cheap, but along with the beach, they have 2 pools and the nicest bathrooms ever encountered. Lots of cool activities and close to Destin, and about 40 miles south of I-10. Don't come here this weekend, it's full, but put this one on your bucket list. I will attach some pictures tomorrow of Camp Gulf and other spots we camped.

Wow, where do I begin. We are camped at the Cajun Palms RV Resort in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, just off I-10. It is impossible to describe this place; maybe the Disney World for RV's. Everything about this place is over-the-top; you can even order food and drinks over the phone and they bring it to you via golf cart right to your camp spot!!! Two swimming pools, mini golf course, water slide, 2 fishing ponds, a teen dancing spot, and the Tiki Bar for adults. The general store has everything including a liquor store. They have more security folks riding around than any place I have been. There are also MORE golf carts (a lot of imagination on styles) here than at a golf course, everyone but us has one. It's a happening. We got the last spot. Today should be interesting. Pics later.

After a great time with the As bunch at Pecan Park, San Marcos, TX, we headed northwest, spent the night in Lubbuck, and made it to Santa Fe, NM yesterday. We are staying at the Ranchos RV Park off the Old Las Vegas Hwy. We haven't stayed at this park before, but it is a nicer area than the Trailer Ranch off Cerrellos Road. Terrible head winds on the way up here. I have kept track of my mileage and gallons used and will report the totals at the end of our trip. Right now we are hoping to get back home in Idaho on or about June 12.

Ranchos RV Park north of Santa Fe was a great parking spot. Stayed a week and headed out today for Moab. We are staying at the Portal RV Resort. Very nice camp spot just north of town. New facilities, so very clean. Tomorrow we go to Salt Lake City and we like to camp at Pioneer RV Park in North Salt Lake. We'll stay a day there and then home to Garden Valley, Idaho. I have been keeping records of miles and gasoline used. I will report the totals when we arrive home, along with some more pictures.
