We moved up to Vedawoo, just west of Cheyenne at 8,800 ft. 2 days of stunning views, hiking and watching rock climbing. Tomorrow we move further north west. Click image for larger version

Great trip and pics. My first thought when you said Texas, was Storms! Were you using your phone to follow the storms. What apps do you like. What happens when you don't have cell service. How do you navigate around

We have a bunch of weather apps and bounce between them. I like The Weather app because I'm a map kind of guy.
Tonight we are at a small BLM camp on the green river, just north of Pinedale WY, headed to some remote boondocking at a mountain lake tomorrow for a couple of days. We met a nice Airstream Couple here who are going to work camp in Yellowstone for the summer.
As soon as we have better coverage I'll post photos.

Nice photos. I've traveled little in that region. So interesting!

We have been struggling with any place that has band width to upload photos, probably because we have avoided civilization. We are currently in the Grand Tetons on night 7 of 9 boondocking and the solar has worked very well. The 12v Dometic freezer has stayed at -2 degrees, and by 2:00 every afternoon the batteries are fully charged.

Guess what...

Today I had another valve stem start leaking. Off to Jackson WY tomorrow to get it replaced.

One question. Why does WY close the road MILES before the construction?

It was a different dynamic traveling with another couple. We found that we never really went inside the trailer and posted, Ms HiHo didn't make a single video even though we had huge amounts of content. Meals were very easy because only one of us cooked each time, half the effort for great food. We never took time to hit a laundry so by the time we got home we were wearing the souvenir clothes we bought.

A really great way to see America.

Oh yeah, 9 days straight with no hookups. The 200w solar kept up with all of our consumption including the 12v freezer. I did identify a weakness in my installation that will get repaired as soon as the weather cools here in Mississippi, you know, in 6 months or so?

Thanks for all the updates on your trip. We enjoyed them very much. The pictures are wonderful.

Just curious how you managed fresh and waste water? Also did you have to refill propane tanks?

Again, thanks!

Again, thanks!

The longest we stayed at a single location was 4 days, we dumped and refilled the fresh when we moved, as needed. At the end of the trip, both trailers were still running on their first tank of propane probably due to the warm weather and no need for heat.
