Campground bathtubs .... eew. BUT, I'm not sure how one would differ substantially from a hot tub or small pool, really.... (I avoid these as well)

A nice soak sounds appealing, but a jetted tub would be out of the question - no way to clean the plumbing. At least a simple tub you could pre-clean.

Why not bring your own? Google "portable spa" and among the hits is this: Intex PureSpa Portable Bubble Massage Spa Set with 120 high-powered bubble jets

When I head to the showerhouse, I take my spray bottle of chlorox disinfectant. The shower gets a quick spriz from it before entering, and when I get done, the flip-flops also get get thorough spritz of the same stuff. I leave the flip flops outside the trailer when I get back.

Those pump bottles of spray disinfectant are great for lots of things, like cleanup around the waste hose, etc., but, yes definitely around the showerhouse. Rubber flip flops...a great invention indeed.....

EDIT: public use pools and spas have rather strict rules about proper maintainance. Proper chlorination, etc. When my son was in college, he lived in an apartment, and had a part time job doing maint at the complex. Among that was pool and spa maint. His comment to me was along the lines of, "dad, if you knew how poorly public use pools and spas are maintained, you'd never get in one again....."

I liked Protagonists idea... until I saw Gamma Dogs! It might take awhile to fill from the outside shower without running out of hot water, though.

I saw one with a tub about 3 years ago. It was For Sale: 34', triple axle, 80's AS at Camper Clinic II. It had the same flower walls and color as my shower wall, so it must have been factor done. It was a mid bath split walk thru.

Actually the older Avions have pretty decent bathtubs too.

Hi, I have my own bathtub at home and I will use it when we return to our home. Until then my trailer's shower will have to do.

Here's something that will work: Get one of those lightweight livestock troughs like this (I have one and have jumped in on a hot day). It will fit in the back of any pick-up.

Fill with outdoor shower hose while at CG. To dump, a regular water hose will fit into the plug hole at bottom - then right into your campsite sewer hole.
