Gulf Shores State Park
This was our first time at camping with our 1972 31' Soverign. we camped for a week at Gulf Shores State Park in Orange Beach Florida. We had a great time and the facilities there are great. only one problem arose, my wife plugged in her electric infared cooker and then started the microwave, Well it blew out the circuit breaker. This being our first time we didn't know where the circuit breaker was. I have a manual for the Airstream but it didn't tell where it was located.
My Brother-in-law had spotted another fellow Air-streamer when we came in and we went looking for him in the park, we found them camping at the other end of the park and stopped and chatted with him and his wife and family, Their names are John and Judy from Birmingham,Al. I ask him if knew anything about Airstreams,he said whats your problem? So I proceded to tell him what my wife had done, laughed and said that happens a lot. He said that after he finished supper he would come up and look at it. about 30 minutes later he came by and found the circuit breaker and flipped it and all was great after that. Now I know where it is in case that happens again.
