Gulf Shores AL RV Parks

We would like to spend a week in Gulf Shores at the end of April. I have checked on some of the RV parks in the area and I am trying to narrow it down. Any suggestions on a good choice to stay.

Thanks

Don

The place to stay in Gulf Shores is Gulf State Park. All the RV sites are paved and have full hoohups. The rates are very reasonable with seniors discounts if you are that age. Many of the sites are on the lake and there is a pavillion down the road at the beach for your use. The park can be found using Google. The web site shows what you need to know. I plan on going back in the near future myself. . The phone number is 800 252-7275 or 251 948-7275.

Regards

I have to agree with Jack, I've been down that way at least 10 times in the past year, Gulf State Park is great. A short bike ride to an Awesome beach, sites there are nice. Also, your over the air TV stations come in better the than any place i've stayed. If you want fresh fish or shrimp to cook in your AS, try Billy's seafood. Great prices, try the Royal red shrimp, they're awesome. County rd 10, go west, it's on the Bon Secour River. 1-251-949-6288.
We load up with fresh fish and shrimp every time we go down there, GS's is one of my favorite places. Make sure you bring your bikes, they have bike racks on the beach. Beautiful white sandy beach.
