Has anyone pulled their A/S down US 78 between Memphis, TN and Birmingham, AL; then, I 20 to Atlanta? My StreetAtlas CD seems to indicate much of US78 is four-line except the last 30+ miles from Jasper to Birmingham.
Is there a better route? A few years ago, we took I40 to Nashville; then, I75 to Atlanta, but that route is longer.

I have made this trip numerous times it is an easy drive with you airstream, basically from Olive Branch to just outside of Birmingham is nonstop interstate type travel.

Unfortunately, bad weather at the last minute forced us to alter our route to LA & FL. Otherwise, we would have been in the middle of the storm/tornado that hit Atlanta. We will file the info for next year when we hope to head that way again.
