Green River Lake SP Cambellsville KY

Has anyone camped at Green River Lake State Park?
Kentucky State Parks - Directions

It looks like a really nice area. It says there are bike trails and an overlook, and lots of lakefront too. I wonder when the autumn leaves peak? I have reservations to stay in the campground in November and most of December while I work at Amazon.com. Anyone from the forum live in the area? I would love to know more.

Haven't stayed there but have read an article that said the fishing is really good there.
Also read a blog about someone who did the Amazon.com work for a month or two.
They said they walked a lot at work. Make sure you have really good shoes.
Al
PS: good luck with the job.

Thanks Al. I think I shall try to get some new Rockports or Nikes Air or both. I am hoping to bustle myself into shape, sleep well, eat well, and live large. It's certainly going to be a different experience and I am looking forward to that.

I think I saw that couple's review of Amazon work camping too. It was very informative. Here's a cute exert that the woman made in her journal toward the end of her employment. I get a kick out of her outlook and hope to adopt the same as much as possible.

"How much would you pay to:
- Have a physical training coach for 60 hours a week, who whips you into shape with squats, miles of walking, weight training, stretching and more?
- Have your fingers literally on the pulse of consumer trends in your industry ?
- Have access to figuring out the operations of what makes one of the world’s most successful companies tick?
- Get your mind into a month-long zen state of meditation by doing receptive tasks, and feel grounded to take on the world?
This sort of hands on transformational coaching and experience is worth thousands.
But act now.. and you’ll not only get all this for FREE.. you’ll be paid to have it!"

rather off-topic, butt...

We just got word from a friend that the "Harvest Moon" this month will be the biggest in 28 years. September 21st through the 23rd. Attention, face east!

Well shine on Havest Moon up in the sky! I love a full moon. I am looking forward to seeing the moon shining on the water but for this month I shall go out face east...or follow the big illuminary and remember you told me. Will it be even bigger in Michigan in the East than in Washington out West???? It seems like a Harvest party would be in order! Little pumpkins filled with something or other and warmed drinks and polar fleeces.

Yes and I don't know. The important thing is to remember to keep a eye out;
28 years, after all, worth a look. We'll be looking in Nevada at that time.
