Got That Itch

Still three weeks before we leave the sailboat in Florida and do the 2000 mile drive back home to Durango. Who knows what route we will take? Detours for sure. Two grandkids aboard. Fetched the Airstream from storage for a brake and bearing service before the trip. 40,000 miles on the log since 2011. She looked great, and seemed to say, "It's about time. Take me somewhere". Felt good to have her hitched to the Grand Cherokee, even for just 12 miles to a RV shop. Anticipation of the road. New places to be experienced. Family and Friends to be visited. Sad to leave the boat. Happy to travel well.
