If use Google Earth and are willing to talk please PM me an I will send my phone number.

My question has to do with measuring distances on the map. That function is no longer on my computer

In Google Maps, right-click and select "Measure distance" in the drop-down menu.

I'm using Google Earth Pro, release 7.3.2.5491 (64-bit). There are various versions, not sure which you are using. You may have changed, and that may be why you can't see the button.

I select the Ruler (measurement) button from the toolbar (looks like a ruler). If you don't have the toolbar turned on in View, go to Tools, Ruler and turn it on there.

I also use Google Maps (right click for measurement, as noted above).

Then there is Google My Maps (maps saved on Google Drive, some more advanced features such as support for multiple layers) and that doesn't support right click. There is a toolbar button in that application showing a ruler for Measurement.

PM me if you like

when you get it working and measuring on "path" be sure to zoom in close enough so your clicks are in the intended place. Being too far out and measuring a river I've found the distance shorter since a lot of straight lines went across land.
