Not much there...

Try this link:

http://www.jamestown-ca.com/bus-directory.html

I would simply call the RV park that's listed on the page link above, and ask for close by county or city campgrounds that allow tents.

About 30 miles east of Jamestown/Sonora on Hwy 108 is Pinecrest Lake, a nice campground set at 5,500 ft. elevation.

Contact; Stanislaus National Forest Summit Ranger District @ (209) 965-3434
I can't vouch for the phone #, my notes are kinda dated.

Coloma Resort?

There is also Coloma Resort just north of Placerville off Hwy 49. Located on the River adjacent to Gold Discovery Site Park, home to kayaking and river rafting adventure trips, and they welcome tents as well as RV's...
