Good App for finding auto Diesel while towing an AS?

Hi, Does anyone know a good App for my IPhone to find auto diesel on the road that doesn't take you to small gas stations or to a truck stop that has only the high flow pumps? I've been using "Truckers Path" that finds truck stops, but sometimes they don't have the diesel pumps that fit a car or my truck. It can be frustrating.

We used GasBuddy extensively when we evacuated for Irma as most stations were out of fuel (gas and diesel). GasBuddy will show which stations have fuel. You can toggle the app to look for gas or diesel. The map view will help you find stations on or close to your route.

Gas Guru

I've used Gas Buddy, but have found "Gas Guru" to be more accurate and current in my experience. Just completed 5000 miles over 28 days from Birmingham, AL to Taos NM and places in between and "Gas Guru" was right on.

Gas buddy or gas guru are good apps. On another note I'm not one to spend money on Apps, but ALLSTAYS for 9.99$ is one of the best Apps we have used for on the road.

I can't really fit into most gas stations, and don't want to take the chance if I can help it. Not to mention, my truck takes diesel. I used Truck Stops Pro (Android) as my first source, but now I update a custom Google Map that I have for Florida (https://goo.gl/Bnoawm). Whenever I see an suitably large station, I add it to my map.

Using GasBuddy does not help me avoid the problem of oversized diesel fuel nozzles. Evidently there is no app for that, but there is a solution. VW dealers and Amazon.com sell an adapter kit with a storage tube. Search for TDI diesel fuel nozzle adapter and you can buy one for about $11.

Take a ball pein hammer and small punch and knock downward the tank fill tube neck restrictor, keeping the one side attache to the fill tube.

No more worries about the truck size diesel nozzle.

Usually most truck stops have a diesel pickup truck lane right next to the building. I have no trouble getting my 34, through them. On the high pressure problem, use an item like a pocket knife unopened to prop up the automatic shutoff lever to make the flow a lower rate.
