Welcome home Carol! Koa is beautiful...or should I say, handsome.
The lady that grooms Sulley shows Cockers and the cocker that appears on one of the US Postage Stamps is one of hers (he's 15 now!). The first time I took Sulley to her for a hair cut, she told me, "You know Cockers don't get their brains 'till they're two years old." Well, Sulley turned two last August and we were so hopeful.
But he started "filling" in around 2-1/2 !
I told her that I though he was a late bloomer and she told me that all the male Cockers take a little longer. He has really settled down...he is still plenty playful, but not as spastic as he used to be. Of course he still gets plenty spastic when we get a pizza delivery!
or any other company at the front door.
Sulley really loves to go camping and can tell when we are loading up to go and boy does he get excited then. Koa (I assume that is like Kampgrounds of America) will be a good camping companion, too. You will have such fun with him. I hope you are planning on attending the Can Opener in January (I have my camp site reserved since February) so I can meet him also.
Have fun and look forward to seeing you in January.
