Going to Jackson Center

[Foiled Again]

Last big trip out I stopped at MacDonalds for a beverage and got the old hit and run trick.

So I'm off to JC to get my lower rear Roadside segment and bumper replaced. (With BUCKED rivets.) Luckily, the damage did not affect the performance of the rear hatch.

I'm heading out tomorrow, though my appointment isn't until the 8th - so I can visit with my sister Karen - PrudencePB. She's having a bit of a rough time herself, her mother-in-law just passed after a long decline, and one of her best friends had a massive heart attack and died with no warning. They were both involved in the medieval reenacting, with their major event coming up later in July. Karen will be going to the Great Pennsick War this year with a very heavy heart.

All I can do is offer liquor and sympathy. But what else are sister's for? eh?

Sisters are the best medicine, even the quiet moments, just knowing the silence is of. Keep her active for awhile, surrounded by what she knows. We enjoy following your posts, and have learned much from you.

Thanks Big Sis...getting stupid with my favorite sister is always a hoot even if she add does a "k" to Pennsic.

Yes, The Pennsic War will be a comfort this year. Baroness Belinda was universally loved and many will stop by camp to share a beverage and mourn/celebrate her life.

I wish we had more time to hang out this weekend but that is not to be. I might try for Thanksgiving in VA again this year.

Gee, Paula, we will miss you at Jackson Center. Our appointment is for the 21st. Hope your "sister time" was great! We will be heading West for the same after JC. Linda has two sisters and all the families will gather at Snow Mtn. Ranch (Colorado) for reunion this year.
