Glad I had the TPMS.

Yesterday, I noticed a nail head in one of the trailer tires. GYE.
No telling how long it had been there, because the tire had to be rotated in the perfect position to see.
I was 120 miles from home, and the last thing I was going to do was pull it out. So I watched the pressure while working my way home. It never lost air.
Now it's possible the nail is just the head and it hasn't punctured the inside.
Unless it's 1/16" I'm swapping the tire. I may keep it as a spare and mount up the current spare.
I'll know when I pull it out.

Had that same scare couple months ago with my Michelins on my truck, just before heading to MT. Turned out it did not penetrate when I had Costco check it. Made it all summer now with no issues.

If it were my AS, I would first mark the spot on the tire where it is, then remove it at home or safe place, and check for leaks; soapy water works. If it did not penetrate and if it were me, I would run with it. If your concerned, you could take off the tire and take to tire shop to also check inside. (but that's just me)
