Looks like Glacier had their first decent snowfall.

The high mountain tops are getting white around Colorado too. We drove through a snow squall on the way over Vail and Loveland passes on the way home the fourth week in September. Winter is on its way.

Thanks, like your photos where you've been! On our list!

Apologies, We're newbies to this! Can you tell us what bike rack brand/model you have over the propane locker? Sturdy? It looks smart! We have an FC 23FB pulling with a MB 2009 GL320 Blue tech. Pulled fine from US northeast to SoCal west coast in March, no bikes yet but I feel bike weight would be better on the front than dangling on the trailer rear. We'll eventually put Kayaks on top of the SUV. Many thanks,
Newbies

Luckily, we had made reservations as there was there was a local event and the KOA was full. We took advantage of their Hunt Brothers Pizza delivered to our campsite for the evenings meal. Average mpg for this leg was 12.3 mpg. Towing our 2008 Classic 25fb with a 2015 Ram CrewCab 2500 Cummins.

Here are a couple of photos showing our water/electricity site at the KOA and the corn field behind the KOA.

The bike rack is the Arvika. One of my previous posts has the link.

I've counted three times someone asking about your bike rack! Funny

We love Glacier NP and plan to take our new AS there - perhaps next year - as a part of a more extensive trip to include Banff, Jasper, etc.

Your 30' will be a little more challenging in Many Glacier and Fish Creek campground. St Mary and Apgar campgrounds have more larger sites. Then there are the private campgrounds on the west and east sides. We haven't camped at Two Medicine but I've seen long rigs in that campground.
We finally purchased walkie-talkies and that has made backing in more relaxing and efficient.

We have been to Glacier twice this year on West side at mostly at Apgar. We have done all the campgrounds in Glacier, and find East Glacier is easiest to find a spot. If Apgar or Fish Creek is full, there are many commercial RV parks outside the entrance. Another nice spot on that side is Hungry Horse Dam There are several small campgrounds up there and it is largely overlooked. A challenge for larger than 25' however.

We go to St. Marys Monday and then on to Swift Currant, for few nights, then on to Waterton Lakes, (lots of bears there), then Banff, Radium Hot Springs then back to MT- 8- 10 days. I will post updates on the way. Glacier campgrounds are filling early again this year...20% more visitors than last year they are telling me...we know a ranger there that helps us out with crowd flow information. Kids back to school in couple weeks, so hopefully the crowds will be going down this week with shopping.
