Hey, Rodney, great to see you check in!

Wild Rivers is a pretty neat place, and a pretty well-kept secret, too.

We haven't been up to Great Sand Dunes in ... well, too long. Maybe we can make it up there this fall.

Glad to be able to check in! I was getting 3 bars on my cell phone but the card was no good. I talked with a couple that had sat internet, and I have to tell you, if I can swing it, its on the list for next year....

Wild Rivers is neat, I am sure I will be back there in the years to come.

Right now, I am eating a sandwhich looking out the door at some mountains and sand dunes and in a very few minutes I will be heading out to get my camera sandy .

Wow, cool pic! I think we'll definitely try to head up that way on our next trip. The real destination may be over to Bryce, but we meander a LOT.

Looks like you have Canyon de Chelly, thats good. Be sure and go to Lake Powell and right before Page go see Antelope Canyon. Swing up to Monument Valley if you can too.

This morning I am sitting under my umbrella (I am using the pvc pipe and c-clamp trick I picked up here to hold it to the table) looking to the north west at the mountains and sand dunes. Life is good. Todays agenda is to kick back, read cheap novels and wait for good light around sun set before heading out to the dunes to shoot.

Things I have discovered or concluded on this trip. Diesel apparently has no upper price limit, I want satellite internet, I got what I paid for with my cheap inverter, outdoor speakers would be sweet. Also, long trips ROCK and spending extra days at out of the way places is really good for a guy.

Move over Ansel Adams, it's time for the general to give up that day job. Breath taking shot. I love black and white. If you go to The Garden of the Gods, see if John Wayne is alive and well there. I could never quite believe the Duke could really die.
