What a disappointment. Both films were old. They seemed faded and the second one called "sharks" should have been called "a stupid talking turtle". I was so disgusted that I walked out in the middle of that one. IMAX can be so cool, to have these out of date, faded shows is inexcusable.

I was so unhappy I didnt go into the Space Museum. Maybe another time.....
That is really disgusting. I thought like you, that this would be a really gee-wiz event to watch. We are still following you and hope to meet up in the future.

Yeah, it was a let down. I am unsure about my itenerary, I kinda got bogged down here in Alamogordo. In a week or so I have to point east again. I may hit Terlingua for the Chili cook off, and mom had such a good time I'm looking at having her fly into Corpus for a couple days on the beach in mid Nov.

Rodney;

Good to hear from you. Lou and I were discussing a couple of days ago how you were doing. I'm glad your mother enjoyed her trip to NM.

Your photos are always nice to get.

Hope to hear more from you in the future.

We plan to arrive at N. Padre Is. on Nov. 15 and leave Nov. 17. It all depends how the the rest of the trip goes, but usually we show up when we plan. We're also spending 3 days before that in San Antonio and I don't know we need 3 days, so it may be earlier. Some friends from home we're thinking of going to Padre Is. in Nov. with their SOB, but don't know for sure when they are going.

Rodney,
When you get to Padre, post and let us know where you are. We may take a quick trip down there even if we do not bring the AS. We plan to take our AS for a trip to the Rio Grande Valley a week later for about 10 days. Just cannot get away for that long a stretch right now.

Rodney, when we heard Ida was aiming at NOLA, we rapidly changed our plans and will probably get to Padre sooner—maybe the 13th. The Gulf must be pretty churned up now.

Where is Bird Is.? I am thinking of going to the northern part of Padre Is. out of Corpus and know nothing about it never having been there.

Rodney, we leave for Padre Is. Friday morning. The post where you said you would be was one of those lost, but I think it must be Mesquite or something like that. We will look for you there.

Im in the main campground. Come through the park gate and look for the CG sign on your left (go past bird Island). The campground is small and you will have no trouble finding me. What day do you think you will arrive? I will have the margarita fixings ready for ya!

Better and best restaurants in CC area:

City:

Yardarm
Mamma Mia

On the Island:

Rockport

Charlotte Plummers

H-E-B Foods at Waldron Road Exit in the Bluff for all supplies otherwise.

(And, don't know you-alls direction out of CC, but recently made a trip from West Coast to CC by following border. The minor highway from CC to Del Rio is trailer-good: CC to Bluntzer, Cotulla, Eagle Pass. Goes through the Country of Big Ranches (relatively). Marathon, Alpine, etc are all worth the time. At least a day off the road for that area.)
