Gaucho made into bed while towing

Is it better to return gaucho sofa bed to sofa mode while in tow? Does it matter?

I don't as that is my bed. I'm 6'6" and the twin beds amidships are too short. Haven't seen any harm come of it.

Hey Knuds,
We leave the sheets and other bedding on, then flip up the legs and return it to the sofa mode. Space requires that we do this, it would be nice to be able to leave it open. Can't see that it could cause any harm.

Making the gaucho back into a couch for towing is important.

Well, it's important if I want clean underwear. My clothes drawer is under the bed. The drawer can only be accessed if the bed is made.

We leave ours in the bed position 90% of the time, that includes traveling. Never a problem.

I store my repair odds and ends and tools under there so that if they're not needed the bed stays open.

I'm a little jealous. We'd love to leave the bed open. Occasionally, we'll get out TWO sets of clothes and leave the bed open for a day.

There are 5 of using our trailer. We only get one drawer each. The drawer for tools is much larger than my tiny clothes drawer under the gaucho.

5 in a 26er? Hoo Boy and me thinking that the 2 of us in a 24 is downright cozy. You are obliged to put everything ship shape to get maximum available space in there.
