Not sure if this is in the right forum - let's hope so
Has anyone camped at Headquarters campground in Fundy National Park? I just booked two weeks there in July, and am not sure what to expect. The price seems right @ $27.00 CDN for 3-way hookup considering that I pay almost that much in Ontario for no services at a provincial campground.
As always look forward to any and all information received.
We tent camped there back in 1996 (pre-Airstream). As I recall, it was a very pleasant place, with grassy and wooded sites on rolling terrain. There are some nice boardwalks, historical exhibits, and of course seeing the tremendous tides and tidal basins is a great experience. Not sure I'd spend two weeks, though -- unless you're the type who likes to settle in for a while.
Once you are there, Prince Edward Island is not far away and definitely worth a few days in its own right.
