fort meyers campsites

any suggestions?? sarasota , bradenton?? KOA Fort Meyers fl.....anyone stay there?? going down mid january for 2 weeks

Best of luck, all very busy this time of year, suggest you take anything you can get. Google each area for RV parks & call, don't try online as they will show full.

Ft Desoto holds back 20 percent of its sites which are released each Friday morning. You'll need to confirm time. I second the recommendation but it is over an hour and half from Ft Myers. Oscar Shearer state park is closer and very nice if you can get in.

Franklin locks Corp of engineers campground. Hard to get in but worth it.
