It will be interesting to see what happened. Pilot has not posted any of their plans on how they intend to do this. I know on I-84 there are Pilots and FJ's fairly close to each other. You can go on line and google for Pilot and find the details of the financial transaction but they don't discuss if any will close or not. FJ has 250+ locations and Pilot has 300. I have never had any trouble at either one of the organizations and we have been trailering for over 30 years.

I smell a MOE NOP POLLI... We have one of each right across from each other... Both could stay in business as they serve east and west bound traffic on this highway.

Flying J offers the dump station...

Rest areas, gas stations, backwoods hiking... watch over your shoulder and carry a bigger club than the next guy...

The Pilot stations I have been to have seemed less savory than Flying J's in similar environments.
Even though I know I won't like it, I know which "competing" truck stops will close: The ones that cost more to maintain. All the "customer friendly" stuff costs more to operate.

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.
