No suggestions other than if you buy diesel through that area, get it from the truck stalls, not the RV ones. I got a bad tank that required new injectors....

If Cheyenne is too close and Laramie is too far, Consider Vedauwoo Campground. We really liked it. No hookups but high enough to be nice at night. W stayed in our 34' last year

I am enjoying your trip posts and everyone's comments too! We plan to leave OKC area for GT and YS in mid-July so it will be good to hear where you are staying. I guess we better get some reservations made! We plan to do the 250-300 miles per day route also since my husband will be retired, but I understand your schedule and it sounds like it's going great so far. Safe travels...will be keeping up!

Smile Hi again

Sorry about the picture...it was a good one though...I just have to figure out how to post them correctly. We just left waubonsie sp in Iowa and are nearing Lincoln. Night before last we lucked out and stayed at an army corps of engineers campground about an hour away from St. Louis. It was very nice and right on the water . We pulled off the road late and the one side of the campground was full...went up the other side and saw one empty pad. Someone had a tent on the grass behind the pad. They let us take the pad. That was very nice of them. They were with other campers and decided to fold up their tent since it had poured about an hour before we arrived. The couple ended up staying with the rest of their family in a camper. Anyway it all worked out.....

We saw the st. louis arch from the truck window.....as my husband sped by. I wasn't real happy about that, but supposedly due to recent flooding and the river being high, the usual rv parking was closed. At least that is what we were told when we called a rv campground in St. Louis.

We saw several deer last night at waubonsie ....a doe and a fawn among them. If you are in the area of nebraska city and need a place to stay, it was nice. Small, quiet and a nice campground host. Great Mexican restaurant in nebraska city.....muy beuno!

Nasty weather right now. Will go as far as weather permits...since we did 435 miles yesterday, we have a little wiggle room today......

Red face Curt gowdy state park

We did 535 miles today....ended up in Wyoming at curt gowdy sp. we are right on a lake and took the canoe out just before dusk. Went for a bike ride too. Very quiet here. Saw some prairie dogs running around...they are so cute! The windows are open in the AS for the very first time! It is wonderful!

Saw two other AS on the road today. One international passed right by us...the other one was an older 34 footer....we saw each other while we were at a rest stop just into Wyoming ...they were on the overpass. We both waved.

Really wish I could figure out how to post pictures.....even our 15 year old says she can't figure it out.....maybe she is just trying not to hurt my feelings......
