A cosmo is a yummy light redish pink martini drink. I forget all that is in them but, love em'!!!!

I got Bambi back! My trips not nearly as exciting but she looks great and I get one night in her.  I sure hope I get to see you Sunday! I've got bottle of wine for the Bambi!

Five o'Clock and all's well
Z and J are on their way towards Springfield, IL. We just enjoyed a visit with them at the local Culver's.

Hey all - we're in Litchfield! Its raining a fair amount, and we didn't want to go hunting for a place to park with J being pretty jet lagged, so, on the Maccamper's recc, we just popped into a hotel here.
Jordan, too bad we didn't see that in time, we could have stopped to say hi!
TB, how was the trip! I'm SURE we'll meet up soon.
We had a great time with the Macs! We way could have chatted for a much, much longer time--they're the kind of people who get more and more interesting the longer you talk to them! Looking forward to meeting up with you again, and now dying to see what you're doing with your ASs.
Off to find some food--I wish we were in the Bambino, but well, jet lag.

Brad, you think you'll be too tired Saturday night? A young friend of mine has just moved up to KC from Texas to join a band up there, and we're thinking of trying to push through tomorrow to make their Saturday night gig. (irish trad of some sort, probably young hot shot kind of thing!)
We're not in a hurry, as we hear Denver is really socked in with snow at the moment...

Z & J, The local WX forecast reported that Loveland got 15 inches with more coming down overnight. The system that caused that is heading for the Great Plains. Snow flurries overnight here due to a cold front that came through NM this PM. From there until Wednesday it is supposed to be good but cool. A series of low pressure systems are to come through later on in the week. The WX guessers are not sure if they will go through Colorado or dive into NM at this point.

It's at O'Malley's in Weston, so it'd be a bit of a trek! Don't feel badly if you don't want to get into the rig again...we will definitely be coming your way on Sunday, I'm thinking.
I keep hearing worse and worse things about the weather...

Thanks! There is a nice CG in Weston. Weston State Park. It's open year round but not sure about the showers etc. we will be around Sunday and our Bambi will be there.

Crawling west now and dawdling in hopes of hitting the better weather, everybody in Denver says to put off getting into town as long as possible. Hope to see a friend's performance tonight, see Brad tomorrow, then see what the weather's doing!

I avoid traveling in sucky weather unless it's a family emergency. From here in Ca. it is reported that the Co. weather does indeed suck. Have some friend video record your friends performance...if indeed it itself isn't postponed. As for Brad there is always another 'tomorrow'. Life is too short for any stress. Stay safe.

Only raining so far--kind of nice except for when a car cuts me off a bit and sprays water at my window! The instant it gets any colder/snows/ices, we'll find a place to stop, I promise!
