Finally Arrived

Here we are in Anacortes , Washington 12 days after leaving Ft. Lauderdale!
Boy do we have a story to tell! want to know about fantasized campgrounds with imaginative descriptions? How about scary back roads on the back side of East Glacier, moonscaped with the lonely presence of minutemen missle silos foreboding the end of eternity? Sewer hookups from the RV Movie. Wallmart purchases to make any credit card company jump with glee. 450-500 mile days capped off with preparing fullcourse trailer cooked dinners, then emerging at dawn to do it again once again....and again. Pedigry doggies emerging in triplets from 500k motor homes as owners richochet from point A to point B with no reason in arrival lor departure.

Can't wait to hear the stories, especially the "fantasized campgrounds". I believe I've been to a few of those. I can still hear my wife saying "This one doesn't exactly fit the description in the AAA camp book".
Hope you took pictures.

Am waiting with baited breath. Campgrounds with triple AAA ratings, but rattle snake accomidations...I think I stayed at one once....or twice. By the way...when in Anacortes be sure to take the ferrie threw the islands. NO WHERE in American will you see such beauty

Where are you staying in Anacortes? Almost moved there a few years ago, but it was just too sleepy a town. Have done the Art Festival for years. If you're still there, it's the 1st weekend in Aug.
Tales of 500K MH reminds me of our years as blue-water cruisers..... the mega yachts roll in, drop the hook, spend a night, then cross that idyllic anchorage off the list.....been there, done that attitude. Never go ashore to see what's there!!!! They sail around the world in 180 days and write a book on the "big adventure"!!!!
I guess all forms of "recreation" have their dolts.
Enjoy Anacortes and the San Juans. If you get a chance..take the TV to Victoria on Vancouver Is. Another cool spot in the Northwest.
Happy travels and cheers,

Jeff
